This animated video is a compilation of various scenes around Baltimore with a galactic twist. The goal of this project is to stretch your imagination, promote an appreciation for our neighborhoods and communities, and inspire us to work towards a better vision of Baltimore.


Kyle Yearwood is an award-winning visual artist from Baltimore, Maryland. Kyle attended Morgan State University, and received a B.A. in Screenwriting & Animation (Film) in 2014. Kyle’s work has been exhibited in the National Black Theatre in Harlem, the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco, and The American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore.

Kyle credits his journey of overcoming depression as the key to unlocking his passion and purpose. In 2014, he began releasing his surrealistic self-portraits on Instagram along with captivating captions centered around self-love, self-empowerment, and magic. After one of his posts captured the attention of millions on the platform, Kyle was featured on various outlets, such as: Afropunk, Complex, The Baltimore Sun, and Essence.
