Reflections II is a compilation of family images, interviews, and memories across the south and north east region of America. It is an ode to the building blocks of family as it relates to the construction of an individual and collective identity.
Markele Cullins is an interdisciplinary visual artist and DJ born and based in Baltimore, MD. Cullins works in a variety of mediums ranging from photography, design, installation, and experimental video. Throughout his conceptual and research based practice he explores themes centering around intimacy, memory recollection, and technology. As a performer and DJ he has performed at Motor House, Metro Gallery, Space Camp, and The Baltimore Museum of Art. Cullins spoke at Baltimore Pride 2015, The Creative Time Summit in 2016, Terrault Gallery, and The 29th MAPACA Conference.
