Supporting the future(s) we want

BMA Studio is a new initiative in response to the needs of Baltimore families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Normally, it is our privilege to welcome families into our Museum to congregate, share, learn, and create joy in our galleries, classroom, sculpture garden, and outdoor spaces. We are currently closed to the public as we do our part to slow the spread of the virus, so we’re bringing the Museum directly to area families.

We are partnering with the Greenmount West Community Center (GWCC) to distribute art care packages throughout the summer. Each kit comes complete with art materials and educational resources from The Baltimore Museum of Art, including ways to connect with the BMA through our online offerings such as virtual gallery tours, workshops, artist talks, and more.

BMA Studio care packages are distributed at GWCC on the first Wednesday of the month with the World Central Kitchen, or the second Thursday of the month with the Maryland Food Bank. We can’t wait to see all of our families back at the Museum when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we will continue to be here for you virtually!
