Goya Contemporary Gallery
Over the past 20 years, Goya Contemporary Gallery has built a global reputation for its lifelong commitment to representing & protecting artists and arts practice; and for creating visionary, historically relevant exhibitions, publications, and scholarship worldwide. In addition to presenting an active schedule of exhibitions and maintaining a diverse archive of on-site objects, the gallery participates in top International and National art fairs, and cultivates, educates, and connects artists with collectors, connoisseurs & researchers.
Goya collaborates with museums and cultural institutions to produce major artist surveys that engage discourse around its artist’s oeuvres. The gallery builds private & public collections, advising on all aspects of collecting including appraisals, conservation, archiving, authentication, framing, installation, acquisition, de-acquisition, and education on objects and their care.
Goya facilitates auction activity through all major auction houses, bringing opportunities for patrons to connect and invest in sustainable artist's practices through joyful engagement. Goya invests considerable resources in its artists, championing opportunity, advancement, and estate-legacy management. Celebrated for exemplary standards of ethical practice, and for contributions through mentorship, trustee obligations, philanthropy, and academic commitment, Goya remains a local business with a global outlook, expanding the reach of local artists into worldwide dialogues, thus proving Baltimore’s larger cultural relevance.
